What's with the name?

We are often asked "What's with the name Pickles and Paper?". Well, besides being just plain catchy and cute, it comes from the age old cliche that women want pickles when they are pregnant. So, when we started Pickles and Paper, it was originally to provide birth announcements for those parents who crave great design. Since their cravings didn't seem to go away after 9 months, we now offer a wide array of products from birth announcements and party invites to Holiday cards and graduation announcements.


What makes us different?

Where do we begin? First off, our designs are exclusive. You will not find them anywhere else on the internet. We also offer you lots of different choices of color schemes. There is nothing worse than finding a great design and not having the color scheme that you wanted! We also give you lots of control over the way things appear on your stationery product, which means that in the end you get a great design that is uniquely yours.

If that wasn't enough, your product is professionaly printed on multi-million dollar digital presses on extra thick premium card stock, so that your stationery product looks and feels great.

Our professional graphic designers review every order placed on our site. Other companies utilize a process called "Web to print", which means that no one reviews your final product. Our company is different, we check your entire order for accuaracy and although we can't guarantee that we will catch every misspelling, we sure try hard to make sure all orders are letter perfect!


What is your turnaround time:

All orders are processed within 3-4 days standard. We also offer a rush service that accelerate your entire order to a processing time of 1-2 days. Once your order is shipped from our warehouse, we will send you an e-mail with your UPS tracking number.


Can I get a sample?

Absolutely. We offer samples of all our designs. In addition, you can order a sample pack which includes a birth announcement, folded notecard, sticker sheet and other misc. products. Next to every product you will see a button that says "Order a Sample". Simply click on that button and it will add a sample to your shopping cart.


Do your products require extra postage?

The majority of our products do not require anything more than a first-class postage stamp, with the exception of our square cards, which require extra postage. If a product requires extra postage, you will see a note that says *requires extra postage.


Can I receive my envelopes ahead of time?

You sure can. Simply click on the button that says "Pre-Order Envelopes" and you will be guided through the process!


Will you edit my photo(s):

One of our designers may edit your photograph(s) to ensure best printing results. However, we do not offer in-depth photo editing such as removing backgrounds or retouching. However, we do try to make your photograph print the absolute best it can. You can submit your photo and be assured that our professional designers will make all the necessary enhancements. We will crop, eliminate red eye, brighten, sharpen, adjust color levels for best printing, or convert to black and white or sepia at no additional charge.

Please be aware that your photographs will only print according to the quality of photo you upload. We recommend that you upload the highest quality photo possible. If you do not have an electronic version of the photograph that you would like to use, you can mail your photo to our offices.


What is your return policy?

We are confident that you will be completely satisfied with the quality of our products. However if for some reason, you are not satisfied with a product for any reason, please contact us within 10 days of receiving your order. We will either authorize an exchange or initiate a return authorization. Please remember that due to the fact that every order is personalized, we cannot accept returns based on customer input errors (e.g., typos, name misspellings, etc.).

In the case of a Pickles and Paper error, please accept our sincere apology and be assured that we will remedy the error as quickly as possible. Once notified of our error, we will offer you a full refund, credit towards future purchase or complete exchange with the quickest shipping option possible. If you select a full refund, we will ask that you please return the order in its original form and packaging. We will issue a refund as soon as we receive the shipment. We reserve the right to reject any returns and exchanges that do not meet these conditions..
